Creativity is defined as the tendency to generate or recognize ideas, alternatives, or possibilities that may be useful in solving problems, communicating with others, and entertaining ourselves and others. (csun.edu)
When I was a little girl, my sisters and I loved to draw! We would make little pages for books, make up a simple story with pictures, staple them together and given them to each other to read for fun.
We loved playing with trucks and Chrissie dolls; riding bikes and walking through trails, swinging from vines in our backyard and climbing rocks. We were fun-loving and carefree. Free to explore whereever our creative minds took us.
When I find myself stressed out and worrying about school, work and obligations, I know it’s time to connect with that little girl again and make some time for fun.
What did you used to do for fun and when’s the last time you reconnected with that little one that’s still inside your heart?
